Remove Animation on One Slide or Turn Off Animations for an Entire Presentation

You can quickly remove or delete PowerPoint animation effects on an individual slide or turn off all blitheness for an unabridged presentation. This tin exist peculiarly helpful for specific audiences.

Removing animation on i or more slides

Since yous tin't restore blitheness if you use the following method, you may desire to work on a copy of the presentation (or slide) and retain the original with animation.

To remove blitheness on a single slide:

  1. In Normal View, display the slide with the animation you want to remove.
  2. Click an object on the slide. If you are selecting a placeholder, click its edge.
  3. Press Ctrl + A to select all objects on the slide.
  4. Click the Animations tab in the Ribbon.
  5. If necessary, click the More than downwardly arrow in the Animations gallery in the Animation group.
  6. Click None. Repeat for other slides.

Note: If the animation has been created in Slide Main View, you'll need to remove it from the Slide Chief or layout (submaster) in Slide Master View.

Turning off animation for an unabridged presentation

If you desire to disable all animation in a presentation for a specific audience or because the presentation is "overanimated", you tin can use the following technique.

To turn off all animation in a PowerPoint presentation:

  1. In Normal View, click the Slide Show tab in the Ribbon.
  2. Click Fix up Show.
  3. Check the Bear witness without animation bank check box.
  4. Click OK. When y'all run a slide prove, no animations should appear.

Turning on animation for an entire presentation

  1. In Normal View, click the Slide Testify tab in the Ribbon.
  2. Click Gear up Show.
  3. Uncheck the Bear witness without blitheness check box.
  4. Click OK. When you run the slide bear witness, the animations should appear.
